Exhale Myst | Lavender Hydrosol
The honey-sweet fragrance of Lavender hydrosol induces relaxation, helps with anxiety, emotional stress, grief, and really just gives your sweet spirit the conditions it needs to take a deeeeeeeep breath.
In these times, who isn’t holding their breath from time to time?
Exhale Myst, or Lavender Hydrosol, is extracted from a steam distillation of Lavandula angustifolia flowers, and is a beautiful spray to bring calm to the spirit. It’s wonderful to use in a bedroom as part of a nighttime ritual, in the air and on your sheets. It can be sprayed on blankets and clothes to keep them fresh, and also has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
Whenever you need calm and for periods where emotions have run laps and nerves are frayed, spray this gentle ally to allow for everyone present to take a deep inhale. And exhale.
Exhale Myst is also a beautiful facial toner to spray to bring calm to skin that is sensitive, prone to redness and irritation, or skin that’s had too long in the sunshine. This spray is really nice on all parts of the skin, too (not just the face!).
For an extra nice touch, keep this in the refrigerator for a nice, cool mist.
This myst can also be used as a skin fragrance, a facial toner, an aftershave, hair refresher, deodorant, or room fragrance/refresher. You can also use them in a diffuser (yes, the same kind you use for Essential Oils, or EOs). To do this, just pour hydrosol into the container and dilute 1/3-1/2 with water. Or just go for it and infuse as is. It is heavenly!
Unlike Essential Oils, Mysts can be used directly on the skin.
Mysts can also be used to energetically cleanse spaces, rooms, or people. You can ground your energy and your spirit by spraying before or after meditation, bringing you back to the present moment. They can be used in much the same way that sacred smokes (White Sage, Palo Santo, Rosemary, Mugwort, Juniper, Cedar, etc.) are used and are really handy when you cannot produce smoke or light anything on fire.
